Abingdon Dragon · 27 March 2007

Ace is a national disabled children's charity that aims to inform, support and train parents and professionals in the use of technology for young people who have communication difficulties, both in speaking and/or writing.

Story

On May 13th 20 intrepid staff and supporters of the ACE Centre and those fantastic folk from Smartbox will be taking to the high seas (well the Thames anyway!) in the famous Abingdon Dragon Boat Race. We want to raise as much money as possible so would really appreciate your support as we raise money for our vital work!

A recent addition to the team is Hector Minto of Possum Controls who promises to bring years of experience and some serious competitive spirit to the event.

The team will be dressed as Pirates and our leader Andrew Lysley has pledged to dress as the Damsel in Distress / Kate Winslet if he personally gets sponsored £250!

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us: ACE will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor us now!

Many thanks for your support.
