Story

I DID IT!!!

Many thanks to J who got up at 6:30am on a Sunday morning to drive me down to Seaford. It was boiling hot and very hilly! I managed to get round in 2h27 which was just under my estimated best of 2h30, so I was pleased! If it seems slow, I managed to come 219th out of 389 people who finished so I reckon that's okay! I think we were all hampered by the heat... I even got a bit sunburnt!

Thank you to all of the folk who donated - that's really great.

Seaford Half Marathon, Sunday 3rd June

This is my first half marathon and I'm bricking it! This time last year I could barely run 5k so here's hoping I run significantly further this time!

I am running this in honour of Adrian, my friend Joanne's younger brother. He is currently in hospital awaiting a bone marrow transplant. I'm raising money for the Anthony Nolan Trust, which helps with bone marrow transplants, so please give as generously as you can.

Thanks for your support,

NC
