Hello!
And thanks for visiting the latest fundraising page for the Veronica Claxton Memorial Fund, this Christmas on Sunday December 17th we will end another fantastic fundraising year which has seen over £60,000 donated to children with cancer by once again cycling up to Addenbrookes hospital in Cambridge and back from Hartford (approximately 45 miles) to deliver some presents and vouchers to the children and their parents staying on the ward for vital cancer treatment this Christmas.
The theme behind this years festive ride is to ask as many people as possible to donate £5 for a child living with cancer this Christmas, aside from the ride we have lots of people throughout the month of December organising little events to help raise some vital funds for some special little children and young people who are battling cancer this Christmas.
Around 40 of us are giving up our last Sunday before Christmas to take part and we hope you will be so kind to support us as we try and bring some festive cheer to those who need all the help they can get this Christmas time.
Every penny raised will go straight towards our £250,000 challenge via www.justgiving.com/teams/target250k, the target is well over £170,000 already and the money raised this Christmas will prove crucial to CLIC Sargent and help them to continue to support as many children and young people currently living with cancer in the UK as they can.
Thanks very much for your time and a very Merry Christmas from the Veronica Claxton Memorial Fund.
Luke Claxton
