Skydiving Jump for Jeevika !!!

We all are very proud of India's arrival in the 21st Century as great Economic Superpower and we are all reaping its benefits in one way or the other. But unfortunately everyone does not get to be part of this great India Shining. Even today a little less than one third of INDIA's population lives below the poverty line deprived of basic necessities of life. Do they need to be this way forever? Dont they need oppurtunities to make a simple livelihood to support themselves and their children.

Jeevika Trust(www.jeevika.org) is one such Charity Organisation which exactly does that. Helping many village communities across India with specialist resources needed to change their lives. They help the poor families setup their own small businesses by providing them with the required resources and training. They also work on various other projects such as Education, access to water and primary healthcare, empowering women to  learn skills.

In an effort to collect funds for Jeevika, I will be doing a Charity Skydiving Jump on 20th of September. I have never done anything like this before and sure will be exciting and also for the right cause.
