On the 26th September 2010 a group of us will be running the Windsor Half Marathon to raise money for the Alexander Devine Children's Hospice Service formerly known as Alexander Devine Children's Cancer Trust. For those who don't know about them ADCHS are a charity local to Maidenhead with the main aim of raising enou...gh money to build the first and only hospice for terminally ill children in Berkshire. Their work in and around Maidenhead has been astounding, providing a full-time nurse to care for terminally ill children in East Berkshire and to raise enough money to build a hospice will mean children and their families won't have to travel as far as they currently do to get to their nearest hospice.

Active Health Clinics have raised just over £1500 by providing free treatment on the Open Day in June and have become sponsors of the event for ADCHS. As there are a number of runners connected to the clinic including me, Laura, Clare, Mark, Sinead, Katy and more, we've got a group justgiving page as seen below. So PLEASE sponsor us all and you will be able to physically see the difference we will be making.
