TackleAfrica uses the power and popularity of football to deliver HIV and Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) information and services to young people on football pitches across the continent

Story

Hi All,

Thank you for taking a look at our Just Giving page. 16 fanatic footballers have signed up to take part in the London Football Marathon 2013, to raise money for Tackle Africa, a charity that supports young people in Africa affected by HIV.

2 Teams- both part of the Actonians Crew- will be playing 12 hours of football on Saturday July 6th. Every team will play a minimum of 23 games, lasting 20 to 30 minutes which is on average similar to running a marathon! Quite a mission..!

Next to smashing the tournament, and hopefully win- we want to smash our fund raising target as well so we would appreciate any donation, big or small towards achieving our goals! And of course any support on the day- is welcome as well!!

Thanks!
