Story

Thanks for visiting the Acturis British 10k 2011 JustGiving page.

This year we're raising money for Makomborero.  Makomborero is a charity in Zimbabwe that helps young people like Mike. Mike is an orphan.  He has practically educated himself having been unable to pay school fees for most of his senior schooling.  He says that some of his most painful memories are of the many times he was sent home from school for unpaid fees.

Makomborero helps young people like Mike with the support and education that most of us take for granted. For young people in Zimbabwe it is not just a matter of achieving their educational ambitions. It can mean giving themselves, their families and communities hope and a future free from poverty.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails.
