We will do whatever it takes to help you live life as fully as you can
Story
Hello, and thanks for visiting.
Between 17-21 September 2009 we completed the "Legends of the Alps" challenge - three days of cycling over six of the toughest mountains in Europe.
This included three – Col de la Madeleine, Col du Galibier and Alpe d’Huez – which Tour de France organisers class as Hors Catégorie or ‘beyond categorization’ on account of their severity. They were tough, but we managed them all without stopping. Clayton's account of the ride was recently published on The Independent's website - you can read it here.
We are delighted to have completed the challenge - and to have raised over £4,200 for Macmillan Cancer Support, an organisation that looked after Adam’s Mum in the
last few months of her life, and which every day helps people like Christopher, a friend of Clayton's who was also lost to cancer in 2007. Thank you to everyone who donated so generously to this excellent cause.
Despite completing the challenge, donations are still very much welcome. Please go to www.macmillan.org.uk to find out why it is worth five minutes and a few quid.
