Over 150,000 of us in the UK have MS. It’s unpredictable and different for everyone. But it doesn’t have to be this way. We’re the MS Society. We understand what life’s like with MS. We're here for you through the highs, lows and everything in between. Together, we are strong enough to stop MS.

Story

Thank you so much for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Absolutely Thrilled/Excited/Petrified/Nervous/Shitting A Brick but most of all incredibly Proud to be Running the London Marathon for the MS SOCIETY.

Multiple Sclerosis is a condition that is very close to my heart. My Mum has MS, a few of my friends do and also many of my good friends have loved ones with the condition.

Multiple sclerosis (MS) affects the central nervous system. The coating around nerve fibres (called myelin) is damaged, causing a range of symptoms. Your immune system, which normally helps to fight off infections, mistakes myelin for a foreign body and attacks it. This damages the myelin and strips it off the nerve fibres, either partially or completely.

This condition effects over 100,000 people in the UK alone. if you can spare anything and please Donate it would make my day.

xx
