Adam Rogers Trust- UBS Charity Challenge - 24 hour 5-a-side football game · 4 September 2008 ·

The Trust was set up in memory of Adam Rogers, who died of cancer, aged 13, in 2006. It aims to help children with cancer to have improved conditions of life, and also adults with learning difficulties (a cause close to Adam's heart as his brother has Down's Syndrome). It provides grants, funding and support to charities and organisations to achieve these aims.

Story

Thanks for visiting our fundraising page.

We are proud to be supporting the Adam Rogers Trust  which was set up in memory of Adam Rogers, who died of cancer, aged 13, in 2006. By participating in a 24 hour 5 a side football game involving relay teams on the 4/5th September at the David Beckham Academy  - our slot is from 11pm to midnight if you fancy coming down to support!

The aim of the event is to raise funds for the paediatric cancer care unit at Addenbrookes Hospital. This is just one of a series of events that are being run with the aim to raise £800,000 - the start up cost to set up a team of paediatric cancer carers to work with children with cancer and their families. Every penny raised will go to the paediatric care unit.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: The Adam Rogers Trust gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor us now!
