Story

Hello Dear Reader,

Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. My name is Adi and I am 7 years old.

Over the next 13 days, I am participating in a Readathon to raise money to help children that are very, very ill.

To make it really difficult for myself, I am hoping to read all 8 books of the Saxby Smart series by Simon Cheshire - that is more than 1,400 pages in less than 13 days! A lot of reading, no doubt.

I am counting on you to support me by donating generously - my Mummy says, every £ will make a diffierence (though I hope you will be really generous and donate more than a pound!) All the money you donate will support the work of 3 charities as below:

1) CLIC Sargent: UK's leading cancer charity that cares for children suffering from Cancer

2) Roald Dahl's marvellous Children's Charity: which helps children with serious neurological and blood conditions

3) Readwell: which provides books and storytellers for children in hospital to make them happy

You will agree they are all very good and much-need causes that will bring some happiness and comfort to children who are really very sick.

I promise to keep you updated on my progress - as of now, I am finishing the first book, which I started reading last night.

The web link below will tell you what Readathon does with the money you donate: http://www.readathon.org/where-your-money-goes/

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now. I, and many little children need your support.

Thank you,

Adi
