My mum, Irene Sharp, was afflicted by non-Hodgkins Lymphoma over a decade ago.  Although she won the battle against this disease, it sadly returned again in December 2013.  Furthermore, mum suffered from Parkinson's in both hands which was slowly getting worse.  Although an unexpected heart attack on December 16th 2013 took her life two days later, these two conditions had weakened her body so much that it was probably just a matter of time before one of these terrible illnesses would have caused the inevitable.
