My mum is going to do a sky dive to raise funds for STARS.  She has chosen this charity because her grandson, my son has had RAS since he was 22 months old.  He is now 15, I am 38, so that kind of gives you an idea of my mum's age!  My mum has never done another thing like this before, although she is first in the queue when it comes to Alton Towers and places like that.  My Son calls her the "adrenaline junkie nan".  When I first read about the offer of doing a sky dive on the STARS website, I half heartedly emailed the link to my mum.  I was shocked and overwhelmed with admiration when she said she would do it.  Life has not been easy for Owen and myself over the years but we have pulled through, always with the help, love and support from my mum, to us she is the best mum and nan anyone could ever ask for.
