We are a youth-driven organisation supporting a global movement of young people to take action. We exist to ignite youth-led action to create solutions to the world’s most urgent problems. We support young people by connecting them with the skills, networks, platforms and experiences to lead change.

Story

Thanks for visiting my Justgiving page - it's totally safe, secure and efficient.

I am part of a team of 16 UK Googlers heading to Tanzania in April 2014 for a 15-day international volunteering expedition. Our primary project is the installation of a water distribution system.  We will be living with, and working alongside, local villagers to make this a reality. No comfy beds for us - just mats on the ground in tents of 8.

Almost 50% of Tanzanians have no access to a sustainable water supply. Poor access impacts many areas of life e.g. the time taken for women and children to physically collect water.  Poor water quality has a detrimental effect on health which affects children’s education and whether they can attend school, and on an adult’s ability to work.

Your contribution, however small, will really help these villagers.  I'm using my annual leave to do this and funding flights and other expenses myself so that your support goes fully to the charity.
