My story

A strong and fearless competitor, Adrian rode over 200 winners as a young boy on the Irish pony racing circuit. He won 1,024 races in the UK, including the Cheltenham Gold Cup on Cool Ground among numerous big-race successes. He has been described as ‘the greatest jump jockey never to be Champion’ when narrowly beaten to the title in the 1993/4 season by arch rival Richard Dunwoody. Adrian now trains in Ireland and his nephew Jason won the Grand National last year on Ballabriggs..
