Story

Dear all,

Over the next few months I will be embarking on the 3 Peaks Challenge. I completed the first part of my challenge after reaching the top of Scafell Pike (the highest point in England ) in May and have also completed Ben Nevis (the highest point in Scotland , in mid June, the picture is of me and my dad at the beginning of the summit (covered completely in snow, in June !) and i have to say the weather conditions were extremely harsh - sleet, snow and lots of rain and mist) .

I completed my challenge by walking up Mount Snowdon (the highest point in Wales) in early September. This walk was during a period of severe weather warnings across country, notably in Wales. Because of this, I was only able to make the half-way point, but it was a great achievement by all, with this being more of a difficult challenge than walking to the top on a good day. Of course, myself along with my friends and family will return around Easter time next year to reach the top.

This page will remain active beyond that date, so please let anyone know who may wish to sponsor me. I would also like to thankyou all for the incredibly generous support you have given me. A large part of the total raised has come from offline sources, and i will list all of those people in this section when i have all the details. I will also be updating the picture with one from Snowdon.

All the funds are being donated to Newlands Bishop Farm.

The Farm is a registered charity and part of the Family Care Trust. It is a place where young people with learning difficulties or disabilities can find employment and new friends. It is also a place where I have worked for the past five years.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Family Care Trust will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

Thanks again, and I hope to meet you all soon to tell you of my success in completing the three walks.

 Adrian
