BUPA Great North Run 2010 · 19 September 2010 ·

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

I will be competing in the 30th BUPA Great North Run on 19th September. I am running in support of the Alzheimer's Society; a worthy cause, which aims to provide help and support to sufferers of Alzheimer's disease and other dimentias, their families and carers.

I ran in GNR2009 and managed to complete the race in 1 hour 48 minutes, raising just under £1,200 for the Alzheimer's Society. I have chosen to run on their behalf again this year and hope to improve on both my time and fundraising total.

Your support and donations will provide me with the motivation required to complete this feat of super-human endurance; more than ever now, as I will have reached the big 40 prior to race day. So, please, dig deep and be generous.  All donations will be most gratefully received.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Alzheimer's Society gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

Please sponsor me now!

Thank you!
