Story
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.
I’m riding the iconic Tour of Flanders’ amateur cycling event and the forecast is for a typical rainy, muddy and misty day. Even in dry conditions this race is tough. 140km (87 miles) of non-stop, jack-hammering fun over the many cobbled climbs which litter this part of Belgium.
I’ve been building up to this since October and now I need your help please.
I’m raising money for WaterAid so please contribute what you can, however big or small.
Just £5 could pay for a bag of cement to build a latrine slab in Ghana. £15 could give one person a lasting supply of safe water, sanitation and hygiene education. My goal is to raise £200 which is enough to buy a locally built rope pump in Mozambique.
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: WaterAid gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
So please sponsor me now!
