We are a 24 hour search & rescue service to save lives at sea

Story

Thank you for visiting our fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor us online

On Saturday 23 June, the RNLI Sea Survival Trainers will be starting a 24 hour stint sat in a liferaft to raise money for the "Train One Save Many" campaign. We are aiming to raise £6,846 which is enough money to pay for 6 crew members to attend a Sea Survival course. As the trainers for this course, which is run at The Lifeboat College in Poole, we are hoping that by raising this money for Crew Training we can do more towards helping ordinary people do extraordinary things.

We will be "Adrift at Poole Afloat" for 24 hours from midday on 23 June, located on Poole Quay. We would be very grateful for your donation and would also appreciate your support by coming to see us at the Poole Afloat event throughout the weekend.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us: RNLI - Royal National Lifeboat Institution will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor us now!

Many thanks for your support.

RNLI volunteer lifeboat crews provide a 24-hour search and rescue service all around the UK and Ireland, while lifeguards keep a careful watch on the UK’s busiest beaches. RNLI lifesaving and drowning prevention depend on supporter fundraising and the generous donations that you and others give.
