About the Team

Team Leader: Josh Harbinson

Team Members: Adam Carter, Simon Williams, Ben Jacklin

Event Inspiration from Josh, 'After running the Great South Run in 2008, I promised myself I would never run again! However, being the athletic type, I needed to find sometime to replace the running.

A night down our local ended up with a friend and I deciding it would be a breeze to take on the 1,200 mile Lands End to John O'Groats challenge. With no experience of cycling other than owning a mountain bike, we proceeded to highlight our route on a road map. The rest is history!

6 years on with LEJOG, London2Paris and a 7 day 7 countries European trip in the bag, we've decided to tackle London2Paris again. No paper maps this time, pure organisation, determination and focus on a great ride for a great cause.'

The Event

The team, lead by Josh, will cycle the gruelling 164 miles from London to Paris, from the heart of London, through the English countryside to rural France and ending up under the Eiffel Tower in Paris.

Day 1 Tower of London to Dieppe.

The 56 mile ride from London will see the team pass through some of the UK's finest scenic routes to Newhaven. From Newhaven the group will leave the UK shores on the ferry to Dieppe where they will spend the night.

Day 2 Dieppe to Beauvais

The team will navigate the 62 miles through the countryside of France, stopping for the 2nd night in Beauvais. Both endurance and friendship will be tested on day 2!

Day 3 Beauvais to Paris

After a well earned rest, the team will cycle the last 46 miles to Paris finishing under the Eiffel Tower. Although the shortest day, battling through the outskirts of Paris into the heartbeat of the capital will make it seem like the longest.

A tough but rewarding 3 days, with some amazing views to reflect on a great achievement. Lets cross our fingers for good weather!

We'll be posting regularly so keep checking out the page!

Thank you for reading, your support will make a huge difference.
