My story

 

Thanks for choosing to donate money to Tearfund in celebration of our wedding. 

Just a few examples of how your gift will help (and what we won't miss from John Lewis)...

 

£8 could pay 5 people for a day to excavate a water dam in Kenya or buy 140 lunches for children in India

£15 for a female goat, providing milk, and more goats!

£25 could buy a sheep, allowing a family to develop a small livestock programme.

(In case you don't know how Just Giving works here is a quick explanation: If a £10 donation is given, Just Giving send 100% of the money immediately to Tearfund.   Just Giving then reclaim gift aid if you are a UK taxpayer and retain 5% of the gift aid and send the rest to the charity.  So in this instance if you donate £10 Tearfund would receive almost £12.  If you are not a UK taxpayer the 5% fee will be taken from the donation).
