This appeal is to raise 1million to build a new activity centre and camp site in North Ayrshire. The Blair Activity Centre will be owned and run by Girlguiding Ayrshire North, but can be booked by any group wishing to use it.

Story

Girlguiding Ayrshire North is raising money to build a new activity centre. Girlguiding UK is 100 years old and have an Adventure 100 challenge this year.

Pen Hof, Kirsty Renwick, Mary Dunlop and Laura Reid have decided to combine these two events and raise money by walking 100 miles; in the form of The West Highland (96 miles) and A Little Bit Extra Along The Way (4 miles to be exact!). Our current plan is to take 5 days to do the walk, in the last week in September (giving some of us time to get fit!)

You can follow our progress during the lead up and whilst we are away on our blog here: http://adventure100miles.wordpress.com

This will be a huge challenge, as well as a big Adventure, for us all and the Blair Project is a venture that is close to our hearts, so we would all love your support in this venture we are undertaking.

Thank you very much,

Pen, Kirsty, Laura & Mary
