RNLI volunteer lifeboat crews provide a 24-hour search and rescue service all around the UK and Ireland, while lifeguards keep a careful watch on the UK’s busiest beaches. RNLI lifesaving and drowning prevention depend on supporter fundraising and the generous donations that you and others give.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

The RNLI are volunteers across the UK and Republic of Ireland united by selflessness, skill and courage. Every year they save countless lives and they do it all with voluntary contributions alone.

I have organised a fundraising event for a group of 30 kitesurfers to cross the Wash - from Skegness to Hunstanton on 23/6/12. Depending on the direction of the wind, we'll cover about 18 miles in about 1-2 hours.

We hope we can raise at least £5000 in order to support the efforts of the wonderful RNLI crews based not only in Old Hunstanton but all over the country.

So please donate now.

Back up dates if the 23 june is not windy enough are as follows;
