On Sunday 18th March, we were part of a team of folk from across the UK (and beyond) who completed a relay Iron Man event. Each discipline and distance (2.4 mile Swim/112 mile Cycle/26.2 mile Run) was split amongst people competing in different parts of the UK and beyond.

Both of us took part of the running team, and ran a a mile each. 

TJ was very much in shape having practiced regularly at school. Ady found this (and the recovery) much more challenging having had very little practice on the run up. He did fulfill his promise to wear his Superman pants having reached our target before the day. What a treat!

The swimmers, cyclists and runners and combined to complete an Iron Man over the course of Sunday 18th March 2018 using Twitter to digitally handover to the next one in the team.
