AEA Golf Day · 17 April 2008

Thrive is the leading UK charity that uses gardening to bring about positive changes in the lives of people who are living with disabilities or ill health, or are isolated, disadvantaged or vulnerable. This is known as social and therapeutic horticulture (STH).

Story

During the past two years, we have raised almost £10,000 for Thrive from the outdoor power equipment industry Charity Golf Days - and this year we want to increase that to £15,000 raised over three years.

The 2008 Golf Day will again be held at the Windmill Hotel Golf and Country Club on Thursday 3 July - and this year we want to give manufacturers, suppliers, dealers and others who may not be able to participate directly in the event, the opportunity to support our fundraising efforts.

The Charity Golf Day, organised by industry trade association AEA and leading business magazine Service Dealer, provides golfers of all capabilities the opportunity to have a great day out, enjoy excellent socialising - and the chance to help others less fortunate.  Even if you cannot participate on the day, please help us reach, and exceed, our target!

Many thanks from the event organisers
