31 Squadron go 31,000 miles to raise £31,000!!

During our squadron's 4 month deployment to Afghanistan, we aim to run, row, X-Train or cycle 31,000 miles to raise £31,000 for 'Help For Heroes'.

Afghan summer ;  temperature regularly 40C+ ; 3300 feet above sea level ; lots of dust and the smell of 'Poo pond' - are we mad?!? Yep!

if that doesn't sound bad enough, we have teamed up with the BUPA 31st Great North Run and I and others will be running the Kandahar Half Marathon on Sunday 4th Sep!!

Please help us to raise money for wounded troops who have risked their lives to improve the life of the Afghan people.
