<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>31 Squadron go 31,000 miles to raise £31,000!!</strong></span></p>
<p><em>During our squadron's 4 month deployment to Afghanistan, we aim to run, row, X-Train or cycle 31,000 miles to raise £31,000 for 'Help For Heroes'. </em></p>
<p><em>Afghan summer ; temperature regularly 40C+ ; </em><em>3300 feet above sea level ; </em><em>lots of dust and the smell of 'Poo pond' - are we mad?!? Yep!</em></p>
<p><em><img src="http://www.greatrun.org/App_Images/2011/Events/logo_GNR.jpg" alt="Bupa Great North Run" />if that doesn't sound bad enough, we have teamed up with the BUPA 31st Great North Run and I and others will be running the Kandahar Half Marathon on Sunday 4th Sep!!</em></p>
<p><em>Please help us to raise money for wounded troops who have risked their lives to improve the life of the Afghan people.</em></p>
