The AFV Gunnery School completed the challenge at 1135hrs, Sun 10 May 09, in 19hrs 31min, an outstanding achievement.  We had walked, run and painfully limped around 25 miles, climbed around 10,000ft and endured a hair-raising drive of nearly 500 miles, with the team averaging less than 3hrs sleep. 

 

As well as a satisfying sense of achievement upon completing the challenge, you guys have helped raise about £6,500 for our choosen charities.  It is hoped all the money raised will go some way in assiting the incredible work carried out by both charities.  In summary, it was a truly unforgettable experience for the team, but I would like to this opportunity to thank you all for the incredible support you have shown.
