I absolutely dislike running but I've finally decided to go through the pain to raise money for Cancer Research UK at this year's Greater Manchester Run 10k! Not only is it another reason for me to get fitter but I am running in memory of my aunt Yvonne who had a short but brave battle with a brain tumour in 2013. CRUK's incredible work allows funding for vital research in developing treatments for all forms of cancer and I hope that the money fundraised will go towards improved diagnosis and potential treatments for brain cancer.
