Story
Thanks for visiting our fundraising page.
Our Brighton ride will be supporting the Centrepoint charity, an inner City homeless organisation for young people. Every day, Centrepoint supports over 800 of these vulnerable young people.
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Centrepoint gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
Centrepoint's help ranges from short stays of 7 nights to some arrangements where young people can make their home for up to two years. Centrepoint offers a range of specialist services for vulnerable people who may be leaving care or the youth justice system, young adults who are refugees and those who are parents on their own. Since 1969, Centrepoint has worked with over 73,000 homeless young people.
Our cycling team will leave from Clapham in the morning of 8 May and the gruelling 60 mile (plus) journey will be undertaken in fancy dress (half the participants as Super Heroes and half as Super Villains). Ably aided by our car-bound support team they will pedal their way through a series of checkpoints, a la Tour de France, in order to keep the "Chris Boardmans" with the "Penny Farthings".
We hope that you also consider that Centrepoint is an extremely worthwhile cause and as mentioned above we would be extremely grateful if you would consider sponsoring this event. All donations would be fantastic and much appreciated.
So please sponsor us now!
