Age Concern Cheshire is a fantastic charity that does amazing work for older, vulnerable and frail people.
Age Concern Cheshire are not a sexy, charity, they enjoy no celebrity endorsements, can not use pictures of kittens or small children in our publicity and don't fill the pages of national magazines and media. However, the work they do is invaluable and heavily in need of support.

Age Concern Cheshire deal with older people who are too frail to leave their houses, who haven't the money to turn on the heating in our harsh winters with people who have experienced terrible abuse at the hands of the only people they can rely on and much much more.
1 in 5 older people live in poverty
30 older people a week commit suicide due to lonliness and isolation
3.5 million older people live alone and in isolation

We fight to alleviate these problems and reach 250,000 people every week across the country
