On 2 September 2009 the Central Fundraising team at the National Trust took on a 16-mile hilly hike from Stroud to Cirencester to raise money for A Giant Cause. Money raised will go towards the desperately-needed new visitor centre facilities at the Giant's Causeway in Northern Ireland - see http://agiantcause.nationaltrust.org.uk/ for more details. Although the weather was good in the morning it poured down in the afternoon and we earned every sponsorship pound raised in discomfort and blisters! We have set ourselves the challenge of sponsoring several stones and we are so nearly there. Please sponsor us with whatever you can, and remember to gift aid if possible.
