Story

We (Mike Corby, Neale Cartlidge, Marcus Dodd, Steven Walker, Stephen Jones, Dennis Cranch, David Gardner, Tom Cliff, Howard Crane, Jon Sheppard, Steve Nicolson, Daniel French & Neil Farmer) are taking part in a charity cycle ride from Twickenham to Stade de France in Paris on the 9th of March. (175 miles in 28 hours) The ride is in aid of a Malawi Education Initiative which aims to enhance the educational opportunities in the Zomba district of Malawi. Thus far the initiative has raised over £70,000 and has helped improve ICT infrastructure, electrical supply, educational resources, sports equipment and has helped a number of Malawians to visit UK on an educational exchange. The sponsored ride aims to raise money to build a new primary teacher training facility which is hoped to reduce the acute teacher shortage in the Zomba area of Malawi.
