A bit about the RSPCA

Queen Elizabeth is the patron of the RSPCA, the oldest and largest animal welfare charity in the world. The charity’s primary focus is the rescue of animals, their rehabilitation wherever possible, to provide veterinary care and to find them new homes through re-homing or release (wildlife).

Local RSPCA branches are run as separately registered charities to the national RSPCA. The majority of their funds are raised by the individual branches themselves through fundraising events, charity shops and individual donations.

The Hillingdon RSPCA provides a vital animal welfare service to the local area. A big part of the work they do is to support their local community – they promote responsible pet ownership by way of education, assistance with veterinary treatment, neutering, micro-chipping, fostering and re-homing. They also support the rescue work of the RSPCA inspectors.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

About the charity

The RSPCA works to promote kindness and prevent cruelty to animals by promoting responsible pet ownership, preventing unnecessary suffering and re-homing unwanted animals with new, responsible owners.
