this old chinese proverb perfectly sums up, why the "Mdumbi Education Centre" needs our support.

additionally to the general need & right for basic education, aspects like high HIV death rates and increasing number of child-led households create a vicious circle for the families and young people in south africa.

with as little as a couple of pounds a significant change can be created and we can support young lives. for example: a couple of pounds pay for a fire-proof gas-cooker. this prevents fires in all the homes - especially those ones led by orphaned children as young as 8 or 9 years old!!

so, let's all save the next starbucks coffee or two and do something very meaningful and important instead. YOU can make a difference.
