Well Sunday 15th Mar 2009 was the day I jumped out of a plane. It was unquestionably the most terrifying thing that I have ever done, but I managed to get out the door at 3,500 feet and fly down to earth without too many problems, thanks in large part to the excellent training from the instructors, the encouragement of the new friends I made on the training course who were also working towards jumping out of planes, and the very generous support of all the friends and colleagues who sponsored me to do this.
