£10 contributes to a month's supply of anti-malaria tablets to keep a VSO volunteer healthy and working.
£50 provides HIV and AIDS training for a VSO volunteer to help raise awareness in the community in which they work. £100 helps provide essential language training for a VSO English teacher to be able to communicate and work more effectively with local colleagues. £500 provides a return air ticket for a VSO HIV and AIDS medical adviser to support hospitals and clinics that are home to patients with AIDS-related illnesses. £1000 helps to fund a community-initiated project that, with the support of a VSO volunteer, could help to set up small enterprises run by local communities.
