I am raising money for The Samaritans.

This charity helps so many people with problems close to my heart.

I went through a very bad period of depression a few years ago, and without people like The Samaritans Volunteers out there i doubt i would have gotten better.

Since i have, and all of that is behind me now i want to use myself as an example to show people that it is possible to get out of the 'rut' you get stuck in. And you can go on to accomplish things that you could never have imagined doing (for example, drasticly, climbing Everest)

If even one person benefits from money i raise, and finds themself the sort of determination and optimism i have now i will be an extremely happy person!!
