Story
Thank you for taking the time to visit our page.
This year we have decided to support Sheffield's Children's Hospital and raise as much money as possible by running the Berlin Marathon.
We will be covering near to 500 miles in training for the event, including 2 official half marathons in Hull and Fleetwood. We have already started our 26 week training plan which consists of 3 short runs in the week (3-5 miles) and a long run at the weekend which goes up each week. Our longest training run will be 22 miles, which we will be doing in peak summer before running the Berlin Marathon on 29th September.
As we have both become father's recently, we realise how lucky we are to have two healthy children and how some people aren't so fortunate. We are so lucky to have such a superb Children's hospital and this year more than ever they are in need of charity support. The hospital is looking to raise 20 million pounds towards an extensive refurbishment that will undoubtedly enhance the care that they are able to give to their patients. As I'm sure you will all agree it is a great and very worthy cause so please give what you can.
Thank you
Adam and Matt
