Ireland Air Ambulance hope to launch Ireland's first Helicopter Emergency Medical Service (HEMS). Based in Northern Ireland, but aiming to cover the border counties of the Republic as well, this free-to-user service is being funded entirely by donations received from the general public and local businesses.

Story

Our community centre is right next to a factory that produces dirt and smoke that will often make its way through the windows of our local community centre.

We have decided to try and get enough money of people to buy an air purifier for the community centre. An air purifier will help to remove all the dust, debris and other pollutants that clog up the air in our centre. By installing an air purifier we will be able to allow the children to play without the, suffering from problems related to allergies.

We ran an event last week to try and put money into the pot and managed to get a mere £15, we hope by setting up this page we will get far more money. In the pipeline we are setting up a raffle to try and get more money so will add that to the total next month.

UPDATE: We read an air purifier review article and decided that we want to try and the IQair Healthpro unit as this will help most for the allergy sufferers.
