Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

The Chariots of Fire is one of Cambridgeshire’s largest annual charity events. The race follows in the footsteps of the famous film, taking its scenic route through the streets and colleges of Cambridge, with teams of six running a 1.7 mile course in relay format.

Aixtron Ltd. is proudly supporting the Chariots of Fire event this year by paying for the entry fee of the following team:

Paul Sinfield
David Molony
Ben Wright
Kenny Metcalfe
James Adide
Neil Paterson

This year, the Chariots of Fire race will be in support of the Rosie Hospital Campaign and will take place on Sunday 18th September at Queens Green, Cambridge.

The Rosie Hospital Campaign aims to develop the current maternity hospital, one of the finest maternity hospitals in the country where women and their babies receive the very best maternity, neonatal and gynaecological care in a safe, clean and friendly environment.
For more information on the Rosie campaign click here to visit their website.

Please support us raise as much money as possible for such a great cause. It's not until you experience having a child looked after at the Rosie Hospital that you really see for yourself the miracles they work for sick babies and support they provide for their very worried families.

Many Thanks,

Paul, David, Ben, Kenny, James and Neil :-)

About the charity

We want to ensure that every patient at Addenbrooke's and the Rosie hospitals experiences the highest quality of care available. We raise funds for cutting edge technology, additional specialist staff and extra comforts for patients, over and above what is possible with NHS funding alone.
