Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. Also take your time to visit our team website at www.ak44.org
I am pleased to inform you that my team and I have a confirmed entry for
this year's Rhino Charge event.
Despite a roll we completed last year's event in 11th position overall and
managed to raise Kenya Shillings One Million Four Hundred and Four Thousand
Nine Hundred and Ninety One which also made us the 12th highest in fund
raising for the event.
Again this year we will be using our four door Range Rover which we are in
the process of preparing for the event.
As you may know, the Rhino Charge raises funds for the fencing and
maintenance of the fence of part of the Aberdares forest, which is a major
rain catchment area in Kenya. This is indeed a very worthwhile cause.
Last year's event was held on the 3rd of June in the rugged Tugen Hills at
Yatya and attended by thousands of fans and well wishers where it raised a
total of KShs 77,311,364.
On behalf of the team, I request that you consider sponsoring our team for
this year's event.
Kindly make your cheques payable to RHINO ARK and state Car No. 44 on the
reverse of the cheque. The sponsorship forms are attached herewith.
I will be happy to ensure that your organisation receives adequate
publicity for this donation by placing your corporate stickers on the car
and participating in any press briefing that you may want us to be in. This
will ensure that your organisation's funding programme includes this
worthwhile cause, and indeed also allows for publicity of your generous
sponsorship. We can discuss the details of this in due course.
If you would like to know more about the event, please visit the Rhino Ark
website which is www.rhinoark.org.
