Due to circumstances this particular trip has been cancelled by the charity. Needless to say I am devastated.
World Horse Welfare is just as upset, but we understand sometimes circumstances, no less the current economic climate is beyond anybody’s control. I am in touch with the charity and donations received will be put towards another trip next year for the same cause.
A big thank you to everyone who has supported me to date and i will contact everyone as soon a I have further information.
I will be riding in over theAndesMountain range in aid of raising funds for the World Horse Welfare (formally the ILPH). The trip is 10 days on horse back covering an approximate distance of 300 km, reaching altitudes of 4219m and camping out in tempratures dropping to below -3 Degrees Centigrade.
I am on a strict daily fitness workout and ride twice a week to prepare myself for the trip. All the money raised will go to the World Horse Welfare and help support the equine welfare work they do on a daily basis.
A video covering some of the recent work carried out by the World Horse Welfare can be viewed to the left of this page.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: International League for the Protection of Horses will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
So please sponsor me now!
Many thanks for your support.
