Yes. It’s another bike riding challenge. 😁 Though you’re probably thinking why is he calling this a challenge? 🙄 He clearly loves cycling and can hardly call a mere 80 mile ride from London to Portsmouth a challenge!

I do love cycling.  But even for me, the training rides and the main event really will be a challenge to complete.

It’s not easy getting out in the morning when it’s still dark. It’s often wet, windy and cold.  Then you have to maintain your bike, your clothes, your hair...yeah I have the worst helmet hair!

Hope and Knowledge have arranged the ride and selected the charity, with whom we have previously supported.  So we have seen how they work, and spent the money raised.

In the past I have raised awareness and fund-raised for numerous causes, both in the UK and abroad.  

This time the money raised will be aimed at helping Palestinians, where we will be focusing on a particular hospital to enable them to operate critical life-saving machines by ensuring they have something as basic as electricity. 

The Palestinians living in Gaza are considered to be some of the most oppressed people on the face of the earth. Their movement is restricted, they have little access to essential resources, food supply is limited, clean water is hard to access for the majority of the population and healthcare which is in constant demand is affected by a lack of medication, equipment and power cuts. 

Your funds will help to solve the problem of constant power cuts at, at least one of the hospitals in Gaza. The money you donate will go towards installing solar panels at a hospital in Gaza to help provide constant, free energy.
