Myself & Elaine are both competing in the Barcelona marathon on 7th March 2010 to raise money & awareness of Prader-willi Syndrome . We have a 20 month old daughter Iona who has been diagnosed with Prader-Willi. PWS is a very complex condition affecting approx 90 persons in scotland .Sufferers  will have low muscle tone , incomplete sexual development & obsessive,behavioral difficulties with lack of control of emotions . Most noteablly they will have an insatiable appetite for all of their life  & will battle with obesity & all  other health problems associated with obesity . There is no cure for this & will be with sufferes for life .

I have been competing in numerous events for approx 20 years & this is the first major fundraising i have done . This really means alot to myself & Elaine so please give generously . All monies raised will go to Pws UK who provide support  for famillies & suffers , this is a small charity but provides a great service .
