BUPA Great North Run 2010 · 19 September 2010 ·

Motor Neurone Disease moves fast. It takes away time, it takes away independence and it has no cure. Every day we support people affected by MND. We fund ground-breaking research. We campaign for better care. We’re here for everyone who needs us. Because with MND, every day matters.

Story

I have run the Great North Run in a time of 1hr 47m. I have completed 4 of 5 Triathlons and 2 10km runs. I am collecting for the Yorkshire Dales branch of the Motor Neurone Disease Association as my Grandfather suffered with the condition for many years. Motor Neurone Disease (MND) is an incurable condition that paralyses the muscles leaving people unable to do everyday things, such as walking, talking and swallowing. In the UK five people die every day from MND.
The money raised will go directly to help find a cure as well as caring for people with the disease.
All donations are greatly appreciated so please help as much as you can.
Thank you!
