<p>Hi Everyone!</p>

<p>I'm sure most of you haven't heard of me for some time, and may even occasionally wonder where in this wide world I'am.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>Well nearly two years ago I left the UK in search of sun, sea and sand, and however chessy it may sound, myself.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>I have had a great time travelling having many adventures, some unexpected. Iv met many people and have always been surprised by their kindness and willingness to help a stranger, something I have rarely witness in everyday life. This combined with a conversation I had with a fellow traveller about the possibility of travelling across the states through physical power alone, and the loss of a relative, has given me the energy to pursue and create 'Alan's Adventure Across The USA' . A way of giving back to those who have given so much to me.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>I'am walking from San francisco California to New York. The trail I intend to take covers over 4000 miles and I hope to finish it within 10 months of my departure.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>This challenge will take me through some beautiful places, and no doubt, isolated and lonely places, this will be a physical and mental test, and one that i hope you will join me on.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>All money donated will go to Cancer research UK, and to a cause which has touched so many people lives.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>Anything you can give will be highly appreciated as sometimes when we are generous in small, barely detectable ways, it can change someone else's life forever.</p>
<p> </p>
<p>So please guys forget about that beer tonight and consider helping others who desperately need it.</p>
