Story

Thanks for looking at my page:

I can't quite believe I am actually doing this. I agreed to such a challenge in December and part of me never thought I would see it through. Last week I completed the half ironman in 6hrs 08 minutes ( just a little practice). So on the 22nd July, (3 weeks) I will be competing in the Bolton Ironman 2012. The Ironman consists of a 2.4 mile outdoor swim, 112 mile bike ride and just to finish off, a marathon. I will be doing this competition, with a soldier who was injured in the line of duty. This really is a fantastic organisation, having worked at the Defence Medical Rehabilitation Centre, Headley Court for the last 2 years. I have seen the exceptional work these charities do. More importantly, the inspirational soldiers who return from duty with their lives turned upside down due to injury. Those that show courage in the face of adversity and heart to turn their lives back around. For those injured to complete an Ironman, is a far greater challenge than my own personal ambition.

Please donate and make a difference.
