Great Manchester Run 2008 · 18 May 2008 ·

Hearing words like 'autism', or 'learning difficulty' can be devastating for parents. Seeing someone you care about affected by stroke is devastating. B.I.R.D. offers a therapy programme to achieve their true potential. Your support will help more families seeking our support.

Story

This page belongs to Alan Cairns, HR Director at moneysupermarket.com. On May 18th 2008, I will be running in my first road race, the Great Manchester Run, on behalf of moneysupermarket's chosen charity: Centre for Brain Injury Rehabilitation & Development (B.I.R.D). As it's my first run, don't expect a fast time although I do intend finishing it of course!. Please dig deep and sponsor me online. I've paid the entry fee so all the money will go to B.I.R.D

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Centre for Brain Injury Rehabilitation & Development (B.I.R.D) will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor me now!

Many thanks for your support.
