CRY - Cardiac Risk in the Young - is a charity aimed at raising awareness of the 8 young people who die in the UK each week with undiagnosed heart conditions. On 20 July Vicky, Ben, Charlie, George, Bailey (our 4 month old puppy) and I will be walking across 8 bridges in Central London as part of a CRY walk. We'll be walking with our friends Paul, Claire and Ellen, and in spirit with Tom, their son and brother, who died unexpectedly in his sleep last October aged only 14. No one should go through what Paul,Claire, Ellen and those close to them are going through - CRY have been, and are, an enormous support and comfort to them. We don't often ask for donations but this is a very special walk we'll be doing and we'd ask you to give generously. Thank you. For more and ongoing information about Tom's Memorial Fund there are sites on Facebook and MySpace so please take a look by following the links below Facebook http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=17233328590&ref=mf and MySpace http://www.myspace.com/remembertomsupportcry, Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Cardiac Risk in the Young gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
