My story

I will be running the Edinburgh Marathon .... the full 26.2 miles (!) ..... on Sunday 25th May 2008 -  raising funds for Alzheimer's Research Trust.

Raising funds for Alzheimer's Research Trust means a lot to me as my mother suffered for years with the terrible disease, prior to her death around 10 years ago.

If your donations can even make the slightest advances in the research of this disease - it will be invaluable to so many people, and your support means alot to me.

Alzheimer's does not only affect the sufferer - it affects the carer and family and friends as well, who are powerless to prevent the loss of their loved ones.

So many people around the world suffer with Alzheimer's Disease and other forms of dementia - please support me, and help the Trust in their work to find a cure, or ways of slowing down the degenerative process.
